Spectrum Information scanning srvicesSpectrum Information Services core competency is  document scanning.  SIS converts data, documents, and images from one format or medium to another. Paper files, microfilm, and microfiche can be digitized to create image files. These files will be compatible with all platforms.  We also output files to paper, film or whatever the specific requirements of the application are. These services can be provided at SIS document capture centers or at customer sites, regardless of the project size and scope of work. SIS uses state-of-the-art VRS technology that reduces image size without compression and cleans up images with no “black out” created. Additionally, rather than using infrared, our scanners use ultrasonic detection to prevent the occurrence of misfeeds. The new UD has the ability to detect the air pockets between sheets of paper and shuts down equipment should it sense any.

Our Document Scanning Process

STEP 1

Analysis

Meet with and survey client to better understand their applications and requirements

STEP 2

Confirmation

Obtain a test box to confirm production studies for costing and timelines

STEP 3

Production Engagement

Start production with a set schedule for pickup and delivery along with a Project Manager’s key contact information

STEP 4

Pre-Production

Prepare boxes for scanning- remove staples and clips, repair tears, insert patch and barcode sheets

STEP 5

Scanning

Run Documents through high end scanners and make necessary adjustments when required

STEP 6

Quality Control

Every image is validated and QC performed at the scanning station to endure the highest quality

STEP 7

Indexing

All indexes are double keyed for accuracy- off shore can be used to cost containment

STEP 8

Release

Data is run through additional QC processes then released and ingested to Web or FTP to client

STEP 9

Document Destruction

Clients have the option to shred their documents and receive a Certificate of Destruction

STEP 10

Customer Follow Up

Project Manager and SIS representative will follow up with client to make sure they are 100% satisfied with our services
